Extensive testing with JAWS 8 has found the Beez template is actually negotiable by a screen reader, if still suffering from a few design nuances that need to be fixed. This is actually one of the best templates I've seen thus far in terms of negotiation of JAWS, if nothing else, and for that Robert and Angie should be congratulated. So the game plan is thus:
Address the outstanding Beez issues and migrate them into the Imagination template as a demonstration of what should be done to fix the template in order to suffice WAI AA mechanical testing. As most of these are Javascript negotation related, I will be demonstrating true progressive enhancement of Javascript code whilst keeping in step with the relevant guidelines. After all, nothing's better than a live demonstration..
Offer a few design changes they haven't considered in regards to quirks mode dependencies.
